We wear the Northwave Genetix Plus 2 mountain bike shoes to make our first attempt at clipless mountain biking. After that as we strapped on our favorite pair of two-bolt-and-cleat pedals These shoes fit snugly to our feet thanks to the dial and Velcro closure. We'll be skiing with them on our local cross-country ski trails making sure to put in a few efforts here and there to improve physical fitness. The shoe is much more responsive than our old flat shoes, and the level of control that we add to our bike completely changes the ride.
